The digital presentations on this site require a high speed connection such as a DSL or cable modem. Most of the presentations are available in Flash format. Flash works well on both Windows and Macintosh computers. It requires installation of Macromedia "Flash player". Most computers already have the Flash player installed but may not have the latest version, Flash 8 which is required for these presentations. If you need to install Flash 8, you can download it here at no charge. If you attempt to access one of the Flash movies and you do not have Flash 8installed, you will be directed to the download site. Please note, if you download and install the player, you may have to restart your browser for it to work. Also, be sure to "uncheck" the check box to install the Yahoo Tool Bar unless you specifically what the tool bar installed as well. This is not necessary to view the flash presentations. If you use both Internet Explorer (IE) and Firefox browsers with a Windows-based computer you will have to install flash separately for each browser. In our experience, the flash presentations on this site tend to work better with Firefox than IE. We have not tested other other browsers with these presentations. As of 01/2006 Flash 8 was not supported on Linux.

The site also includes a few digital presentations based on Impatica OnCue software which requires Java. These are contained on a separate section of the site clearly labeled as "Impatica Presentations." Most computers come with Java installed. If you try to view these presentations and you get the message that the Java is not on your computer, you can install the necessary Java "plug in" for your computer's browser by accessing this site.

Accessing the written training material on the site requires Acrobat Reader. Most computers already have Acrobat Reader installed. If you need to install the Acrobat Reader, you can download it here at no charge.

Completing feedback quizzes and module evaluation forms requires an Internet connection. A dial-up modem connection should be adequate for this purpose.
